Regulations

Regulations made under the Regulated Health Professions Act, 1991 (RHPA) include, among other things, the forms of energy defined for the purposes of the Act. The link to the regulations made under RHPA may be found here and here.

Regulations made under the Medical Radiation Technology Act (MRT Act) directly affect the practice of medical radiation technology. Current regulations made under the MRT Act include:

Regulations made under the Healing Arts Radiation Protection Act (HARP Act) define the safe limits of operation of x-ray machines in Ontario. The link to regulations made under the HARP Act may be found here.

Regulations under the Nuclear Safety and Control Act have replaced the past regulations made under the Atomic Energy Control Act. The new regulations may be found here.
