Resignation
If you intend to stop practising as a medical radiation technologist in Ontario, you must provide the College with a written resignation at the time you cease to practise, or complete and submit Section 6 (Notice of Resignation) of the annual Application for Renewal of Registration form, or complete and submit the Notice of Resignation form. The annual fee cannot be refunded should you practice for only a portion of the year.
Should you stop practising in Ontario, and you gave the College a written resignation at that time, you can re-register as a member of the College provided that:
- You provide proof that you are competent to practise in Ontario; or,
- If you have not been practising for five years, you write an examination or otherwise satisfy the Registration Committee that you are competent to practise in Ontario
Please contact the College if you have further questions regarding resigning your membership with the CMRTO.
