International Graduates
This section applies to you if you completed an educational program in a specialty of medical radiation technology outside Canada.
In order to work as a medical radiation technologist in Ontario, you must be registered with the CMRTO. Detailed information regarding the registration requirements for the College may be found in the Regulations section.
If you have completed a program in medical radiation technology outside Canada and wish to apply to the CMRTO so that you can work as a medical radiation technologist in Ontario, you will need to complete the application form provided below.
All applicants must provide detailed information or evidence of the program credentials achieved, theoretical and clinical training completed and the depth and breadth of the theoretical and clinical training. Further information on the requirements can be found attached to the application form or applicants may contact the College.
You may print off the application form and submit it to the College, along with the necessary documents and the appropriate fees, after you have completed the form.

The CMRTO application fee is $105.00 ($100.00 fee plus $5.00 GST). In addition to the application fee, all internationally-educated applicants are required to pay an evaluation fee of $262.50 ($250 fee plus $12.50 GST). Therefore, the total amount for the application and evaluation fee is $367.50 Canadian.
Please attach a cheque, international money order or money order for the application fee and evaluation fee of $367.50 in Canadian funds, made payable to the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario. If your application does not include the application and evaluation fee, the application for registration will not be accepted and will be returned to you. The application and evaluation fees are non-refundable.
