How To Become an MRT

CMRTO-Approved Programs For Training as a Medical Radiation Technologist in Ontario
In order to work as a medical radiation technologist in Ontario, you must be registered with the CMRTO. Detailed information regarding the registration requirements for the College may be found in the Regulations section.

Applicants must complete an approved training program in medical radiation technology in one of the specialties listed below. Applicants trained in Ontario must successfully complete the examination set by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT), which is an examination approved by the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO) Council.
