3. Determine criteria for achieving each goal
How will I know when I have reached my learning goal?
How will you measure the achievement of your goals? Determine your indicators of success as concretely as you can. You should be able to determine what evidence of improved performance/results will satisfy you that you achieved your goal: (e.g. receive a certificate, give a presentation to the staff or implement a new policy.) Complete the third column in the Continuous Learning Portfolio.
Note that asking someone else - e.g. another technologist or another health care professional – to evaluate your performance is a valid criterion for determining your success.
